The Reflection Gallery at Finlandia University is seeking submissions for a time-based media exhibition. Video work must be screen based and single-channel and should not exceed 10 minutes. Submissions may include video art, animation, music videos, short films, experimental, etc.

Paul Robeson Galleries seeks submissions for its upcoming exhibition, “The (Not So) Secret Life of Plants,” which will explore all aspects of plant life, and specifically how humans interact with plants. This exhibition will be accompanied by an exhibition catalog.

Studio Residency Grant
Women’s Studio Workshop
(Rosendale, NY)

The Women’s Studio Workshop invites applications for six-eight week studio residency grants. Grants support an artist creating a new body of work in one of WSW’s studio disciplines – intaglio, hand papermaking, letterpress printing, silkscreen, book arts, photography, and ceramics. The grant includes a stipend of $350 per week, up to $500 toward materials used during the residency, travel costs up to $250 within the Continental US, housing, and unlimited studio use. Residency occurs 6-18 months after application. The artist will be provided with technical advice and assistance in production. WSW welcomes applications from artists in all stages of their careers. This Studio Residency Grant is a two-step juried process. WSW selects the artist, then sends their work to appropriate funders for final approval.

Atelierhaus Beisinghoff Printmaking Residency
Women’s Studio Workshop

The Women’s Studio Workshop is accepting applications for the Atelierhaus Beisinghoff Printmaking Residency in July. Two artists will be awarded this residency located at Atelierhaus Beisinghoff, less than an hour away from Kassel, Germany. Accommodation is free of charge and provides an apartment with shared bath, library, kitchen, living room, garden, and a sewing and ironing room. Atelierhaus Beisinghoff offers studio space and access to: letterpress studio with Korrex flatbed press, Garamond, Helvetica, Futura, some Bodoni Antiqua and Wallau typefaces; as well as an intaglio printing studio with Plankenhorn etching press.

Artist Residency
Rupert
(Vilnius, LITHUANIA)

Rupert invites applications from artists, writers, curators, cultural managers and academics for their residency program. Individual residencies can last from 2 to 12 weeks, with longer periods of one month and more strongly encouraged. Residencies are located in a newly-constructed building designed by award-winning Lithuanian architect Audrius Ambrasas, operating as an arts incubator which houses a number of creative industries initiatives. Each resident is provided with a studio space and mezzanine (approximately 52 sq m. altogether) to be used as a production and research space during the residency. The studio is fully furnished and equipped with WiFi. The building also houses a reading room, conference room, and a kitchen, all of which are open for residents’ use. Each resident is also provided with a Mac computer and a bicycle.

Rancho Linda Vista, located one hour north of Tucson in Oracle, Arizona, is inviting committed 2D and/or 3D visual artists to apply for it’s 2015 artist residency. The Umbrella Community Arts Center invites applications for its Artist-in-Residence program. The Umbrella’s Artist-in-Residence program provides space and support for a new artist to develop their work while connecting to the Greater Boston art community.  The selected artist will commit to regular, active, and productive use of the studio space starting September 15, 2015.  In addition, the artist will be expected to participate in the annual open studio weekend and in half of the monthly First Thursday events. The artist-in-residence will be awarded a 132 square foot studio with a shared lobby space, and will have the opportunity to live rent-free in a single bedroom cottage within walking distance of The Umbrella.

Bay Area Discovery Museum
(Sausalito, CA)

The Bay Area Discovery Museum invites proposals for its Artist-in-Residence program. Artists may propose how to best engage with a particular theme from the type of residency proposed to its duration. There is no minimum duration for a residency; projects may take place at any time throughout the course of the 4 month theme. For example, they would welcome a residency that consisted of a one day community festival or the 4-month construction of an on-site work of art. Artists-in-residence will be supported by stipends starting at $1,000, the exact size of which will be determined by the cost of project not to exceed $20,000.

Artists are invited to apply for the Third Shift Residency, a two-week long artist residency in Saint John, NB, Canada. One artist will be selected through an open call for submissions to spend two weeks in Saint John developing a project for “Third Shift,” an outdoor exhibition of contemporary art projects that will occupy the streets of uptown Saint John between 7 p.m. and midnight on August 21st, 2015.

Hotel Maria Kapel
(Hoorn, NETHERLANDS)

Hotel Maria Kapel (HMK) invites proposals from artists, writers, curators and researchers for residencies. A residency typically lasts for one or two months. During a stay in our guesthouse, residents are invited to develop, execute and present new work in the chapel/exhibition space, or research and develop a specific project culminating in an event, exhibition, presentation or publication. All residents are offered full and free use of all accommodation and living / working facilities (a.o. wireless internet, shared kitchen, washing machine / dryer, basic tools, some audio & video equipment). HMK also aims to secure funding in collaboration with the artist to provide a travel/living/production budget.
